The fastener below is a standard MAThread ®. It is being driven into a fixed nut. The MAThread® is being driven by a DC electric tool, in a 15 degree mis-aligned condition, with the tool spring-loaded to oppose returning to an aligned condition. Note that the MAThread will force itself into an aligned condition, easily overcoming the spring force of the tool in doing so.
